CTS Project team has conducted a February drop-in session with industry participants, focussing on several key flows planned for the CTS Mobile Application.
Entering information for Tagged Coral
This flow has focussed on how broodstock specimen can be registered in the CTS by linking it to a QCF Logbook Harvest record, manually entering the harvest region/date deails or documenting a domestic purchase. The video also includes a demonstration of how RFID, QR ID or Visual ID tagging methods will be supported.
Capturing required information for Fragged Coral
This flow is focussed on linking broodstock/parent colony details to fragments and for F1 and F2 specimens that are part of a captive breeding program, capturing photographic and measurement evidence required to meet the relevant growth conditions.
Adding coral to an order
This flow is focussed on scanning specimen to allocate them to an order that was previously created on the web (creation flow will be covered in the March drop-in session).
What's next?
March drop in session will focus on capturing data for coral spawning, and creating an order on the web as well as how to generate the SER record for printing. April drop in sessio will focus on capturing data related to mortality, additional evidence of growth pre-export and registering inter-facility transfers.
